RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION
OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS IN THE MATTER
OF THE MAIN STREET BRIDGE REPLACEMENT
IMPROVEMENT OF 1991
WHEREAS, the opportunity for any residents of Elk River to
request a public hearing for said improvement is
required by the Minnesota Department of
Transportation; and,
WHEREAS, the advertisement for opportunity for public hearing
was published in the Elk River Star News on December
5, 1990 and December 12, 1990 with requests due by
January 7, 1991; and,
WHEREAS, no requests for public hearing were received: and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has duly considered the Main Street
Bridge Replacement Project Design Study Report.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Elk River, Minnesota:
1. Maier Stewart and Associates, Inc. is hereby
designated as Project Engineer for this improvement.
The Project Engineer is directed to prepare plans and
specifications for the making of the improvement,
submission of said plans to the Minnesota Department
of Transportation for review and approval, and the
solicitation of competitive bids, at such time as
directed by the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River
this 28th day of May, 1991.
