A RESOLUTION fOR THE CITY Of ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION Of CONTRACT IN THE MATTER Of THE
CSAH #1 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STREET AND UTILITY
IMPROVEMENTS OF 1991
WHEREAS. pursuant to Resolution 91 - 42, competitive bids were solicited
and received for the Elementary School improvements as set forth
in the bid tabulation attached hereto and incorporated herein by
this reference; and
WHEREAS. the City Council has considered the amount of the bids and the
responsibility of the bidders and determined that S.J. Louis
Construction, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder;
WHEREAS. the City Council has, pursuant to Resolution 91-58, awarded
Schedule 5.0 Water Main and deleted Schedule 7.0 Water Main
Alternate Bid;
4It NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota:
1. The Mayor and City Administrator are authorized and directed to
execute, on behalf of the City, such contract with S.J. Louis
Construction, Inc. as is approved by the City Attorney for the
completion of the remaining work schedules on the Elementary School
Street and Utility improvements according to the approved plans and
spec ifi cat ions.
2. The City Administrator is authorized and directed to forthwith return
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids upon execution of
the contract above specified.
Passed and adopted this 28th day of October, 1991.
