RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER

A RESOLUTION REVOKING AND ESTABLISHING A MUNICIPAL
STATE AID STREET AND REVISING THE FEDERAL AID
SECONDARY SYSTEM FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS,
it appears to the City Council of the City of Elk River that the road
hereinafter described as a Municipal State Aid Street under the provIsions of
Minnesota L&ws should be revoked; and
WHEREAS,
it appears to the City Council of the City of Elk River that the street
hereinafter described should be designated Municipal State Aid Street under the
provisions of Minnesota Law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota:
1. The street described as follows, to-wit:
Orono Road (Route 113) from Concord Street NW to T.H. 10
be and hereby is, revoked as a Municipal State Aid Street of said City subject to
the approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of Minnesota.
2.
The street described as follows to-wit:

Commencing at the intersection of Orono Road and Concord Street NW then curving
southerly to the north line of the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 32, then
westerly to the NW corner of the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 32 then
northerly to T.H. 10
be and hereby is established, located and deSignated a Municipal State Aid Street of
said City subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the State
of Minnesota.
3. The Commissioner of Transportation is hereby requested to recommend to the Federal
Highway Administration the portion of F.A.U. Route 9004 described above in item #1
be revoked and re-established as described in item #2 above to be part of the
Federal Aid Secondary System in said City eligible to receive Federal Aid.
4. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forward the certified
copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Transportation for his
consideration, and that upon his approval of the designation of said road or portion
thereof, that same be constructed, improved and maintained as a Municipal State Aid
Street of the City of Elk River, to be numbered and known as Municipal State Aid
Street 113.
