Members Present: Paul Motin,Nate Ovall, Dan Tveite, Ryan Hardin, and Jennifer Wagner
Members Absent: Larry Toth
Staff Present: Economic Development Director Amanda Othoudt; and Economic
Development Specialist Colleen Eddy
Also Present: Springsted Consultant Mikaela Huot,Annie Deckert from the Decklan
Group and a representative from GATR Trucking,Tim Simon, Finance
Director and Dan Weber,Assistant County Administrator with Sherburne
County
I. Call Meeting to Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Finance Committee
was called to order at 7:35 a.m.
2. Consider Agenda
Motion by Wagner and seconded by Motin to approve the March 24, 2015 Finance
Committee agenda. Motion carried 5-0.
3.0 Consent Agenda
Motion by Motin and seconded by Wagner to approve the Consent Agenda.
Motion carried 5-0.
4.1 GATR of Sauk Rapids, Inc. Tax Abatement Financial Review
Ms. Othoudt presented the staff report.
Ms. Huot reviewed the impact study.
Motion by Member Motin to recommend the project. Motion was seconded by
Member Ovall. Motion carried 5-0.
4.2 Dave Markquart Enterprises, LLC Redevelopment Project Financial Review
Ms. Othoudt presented the staff report.
Ms. Huot presented the financial review report.
Motion by Motin and seconded by Wagner to recommend approval of the TIF
request up to the maximum amount of the terms presented. Motion carried 5-0:
5. Announcements Member Tveite introduced new member Ryan Hardin.
6. Adjournment
There being no further business Member Tveite moved to adjourn the meeting.
The meeting adjourned at-8:17 a.m.
