I. Call Meeting to Order/Roll Call
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Economic
Development Authority Together Elk River Sub-Committee was called to order
which included roll call at 8:00 a.m. by Jennifer Wagner. The committee added Katie
Jenson,Marketing and Communications Coordinator for the Elk River Area
Chamber of Commerce to the committee.
2. Consider Agenda
Moved by Charlie Blesener and seconded by Debbi Rydberg to approve the
agenda. Motion carried 3-0.
3. TogetherElkRiver Marketing Campaign -
Jennifer Wagner lead the discussion on the following items:
1. Message for the Star News ad and digital billboards—which start Saturday,
May 16, 2020
a. Kaylin and Jennifer will work together to come up with a message.
The group discussed two-fold audiences—the businesses and the
community and should incorporate the TogetherElk River; dines,
shops,plays,grows, supports, and gives.
2. Message and logistics for website(s)
a. The City's website will be the catalyst which will have a
TogetherElkRiver button to click on that will go to the EDA
Business Directory page for businesses to submit their business
information and to the Elk River Chamber Hot Deals page.
3. Businesses
a. Businesses will have the opportunity to submit their business on the
city's EDA website and submit their Hot Deal on the Chamber's •
website.

There being no further business,Jennifer Wagner adjourned the meeting of the Elk
River Economic Development Authority TogetherElkRiver sub-committee at 9:00
a.m.
