I. Call Meeting to Order/Roll Call
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Economic
Development Authority Together Elk River Sub-Committee was called to order
which included roll call at 9:02 a.m. by Jennifer Wagner.
2. Consent Agenda
Motion by Charlie and seconded`by Kaylin to approve the May 28,
2020 Together Elk River meeting minutes. Motion carried 5-0.
3. Together Elk River Marketing Campaign
Window Decals,Yard Signs, and Stickers: The window decals should be done today.
Jennifer is checking on the status of the yard signs and stickers.
Star News ad: The Design Task Force changed up the ad,which was published this
past weekend.
Business Directory: Colleen will send a-list of business who ordered window decals
to Jennifer,who will distribute.
Social media: The Design and Website Task Forces will take a "real"picture of the
window decal and will post on the city's and EDA social media platforms.
Permanent Billboard: The Design Task Force is working on the design, discussion
was to utilize the yard sign design.
Digital Billboard: The chamber sent an email to the businesses with digital billboards.
Banners:The Design Task Force is working on the different designs needed for the
triangle vs. rectangle sizes.
Community Engagement: The chamber is working on-tying the Together Elk River
campaign with the 169 Redefine Project to get the best reach for the community
engagement coloring contest.
Potential news article:Jennifer discussed working with Jim Boyle from the Star News
on an article highlighting the Together Elk River initiative.
Website: Discussion on reserving the Together Elk River domain names.
Motion by Jennifer and seconded by Debbi to have Kaylin purchase,with
EDA funds, the following three domains for three years:
1. TogetherElkRiver.com
2. TogetherElkRiver.net
3. TogetherElkRiver.us
Motion carried 7-0.
Next meetings are schedule for:
a. Thursday,June 4, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.

Moved by Amanda Othoudt and seconded by Kaylin Clement to adjourn the
meeting. Motion carried 7-0. `
There being no further business,Jennifer Wagner adjourned the meeting of the Elk ,

a.m.
