Action Requested
Open the public hearing, receive public feedback, and continue, by
motion, the public hearings for all three applications to August 17,
2020.
Background/Discussion
During a work session on July 20, 2020, the City Council directed the
Park and Recreation Commission to make a formal recommendation
regarding expansion of the proposed salvage yard operation. The
project will impact the master plan for the Youth Athletic Complex
(YAC), and the Commission will review the impacts during their
regular meeting on August 12, 2020.
Upon receiving a recommendation from the Park and Recreation
Commission and the Planning Commission, the Council will review
the project on August 17, 2020.
Financial Impact
Potential costs will be determined as part of an ongoing discussion.
