A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Authorizing A
Master Subscriber Agreement For Minnesota Court Data Services
WHEREAS, Data Services involve a one-way or two-way transmission of information
between parties, some of which may include court information that is not accessible to the
public and may not be disclosed by the City of Elk River (City) without prior approval; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to use one or more Court Data Services offered by the
Minnesota State Court Services (Court) to assist in the efficient performance of its
governmental duties as required or authorized by law or court rules; and
WHEREAS, The Court desires to provide Data Services to the City to assist the Court in
the efficient performance of its duties or authorized by law or court rules; and
WHEREAS, both parties desire to enter into a Master Subscriber Agreement for State of
Minnesota Court Data Services to accomplish the above referenced goals.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota, as follows: that upon approval of the Master Subscriber Agreement for
Court Data Services by the Court, the City of Elk River may enter into an agreement with
the Minnesota State Court Services for the above -referenced agreement and the City of Elk
River Police Chief is hereby authorized to execute such agreements, and amendments
thereto, as necessary to implement this program on behalf of the City of Elk River.
