Action Requested
Accept, by motion, the public improvements constructed with the plat of Hillside Estates Eleventh Addition.
Background/Discussion
The developer has completed the public improvements described in the development agreement for Hillside Estates
Eleventh Addition. Public improvements include streets, sidewalks, and utilities. The improvements have been
inspected by city staff, and it has been determined they meet the standards described in city codes and policies.
Council acceptance of the public improvements begins the two-year warranty period described in the development
agreement. Staff recommends formal acceptance as of April 7, 2020. The warranty period will expire on April 7, 2022.

The development agreement outlines specifications to ensure public improvements are consistent with city
standards to ensure they will not create an undue burden of long-term maintenance to taxpayers after being
transferred to the responsibility of the city.
