Accept, by motion, the Sherburne County Abstract of Votes Cast for Elk River municipal races and declare the
results from the abstract to be the official results.
Background/Discussion
The Council acts as the Canvassing Board and is required to canvass the returns and declare results for city
races.
Attached is an abstract of the votes cast for Elk River. The abstract will become the official results once
approved and signed. Councilmember Ward 2 is the only city race on the ballot. Matthew T. Westgaard and
Mary McDevitt Kraljic received the top votes and will move onto the general election ballot.
