DISCUSSION:
Installed 3 new residential services, which involves the connection of a secondary line
once the customer requests service.
Staff is working on moving underground electrical boxesfor the CountyState Aid
Highway 12 reconstruction.
The lines and transformer needed for the construction of a wastewater (leachate)
conveyance systemon 221stand QuinnStreetareinstalled and energized. With thatin
place, we are also installing an underground loop for the landfill.
Work continues on the Edison Street rebuild, which involves replacing the overhead
lines for underground.
The installation of infrastructure for the MiskeMeadowsSixthAddition is complete.
One of the new streetlights intheMiske MeadowsSixth Addition had to be replaced
after it was struck by a vehicle.
Staff is working on installing the underground lines for the Minnesota Municipal Power
Agency’s Hometown WindPower Turbine at the Youth Athletic Complex.
The linesand transformer for the Parkview Grand apartments in Otsegoare installed
and energized.
The Electric Department completed installationof lines and transformers forthe
Mulvaney Point Townhomesdevelopment.
Staff is working with the City to energize their new lighted park signs.
The Electric Department assisted the City and the Downtown Elk River Business
Association with hanging banners on Main Street streetlights.
The installationof infrastructureand a transformer forthenewCoborn’s grocery store
in Otsego is complete.
The JarvisStreet rebuild, which improveselectric serviceand capacity for the area, is
complete.
