RESOLUTION 88 - 6
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO HENRY DUITSMAN FOR HIS
SERVICES ON THE MUNICIPAL UTILITIES COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Henry Duitsman for the past nine years has devoted his
time and effort to serve on the City of Elk River
Public Utilities Commission, and;
WHEREAS, through the excellent leadership of Mr. Duitsman the
electric utility has steadily improved its financial
status and the Commission has planned for the future
growth of this electrical system, and;
WHEREAS, the financial expertise of Mr. Duitsman has helped to
guide the Municipal Water Fund to financial soundness
from its previous deficit status, and;
WHEREAS,
Mr. Duitsman's last appointed term to the Public
Utilities Commission expired on December 31, 1987, and
it is appropriate that his outstanding service to the
Community be recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Elk River that on behalf of the citizens of Elk River,
the City Council would like to publicly acknowledge the
leadership Mr. Duitsman has provided the Public
Utilities Commission and thank Mr. Duitsman for his
nine years of service.
Passed and adopted this 20th day of January, 1988, by the City
Council of the City of Elk River.
