RESOLUTION 88 - ~
~ A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LICENSE RENEWAL
WHEREAS, application has been made by United Power Association
(UPA) for a Solid Waste Facility License renewal under
the provisions of Section 604.14(2) of the City Code
and;
WHEREAS, UPA has complied with the conditions set forth in
their license granted under Resolution 87-11 for UPA
and;
WHEREAS, all the conditions set forth in Section 604.14 of the
City Code for renewal have been met;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Elk River, Minnesota that the Solid Waste Facility License for
United Power Association (UPA) has been renewed for an
additional two years under the same terms and conditions as the
original license.

City Code, application is hereby made for renewal of the Solid Waste
Facility License issued to United Power Association for the estab-
lishment and operation of a waste burning facility (the Elk River
Generating Station).
Changes in the information submitted in the last approved application:
NONE. .
Amount of solid waste burned during the 24-month period prior to
filing the application: NONE.
Expected volume of solid waste to be burned in the next 24-month
period: Approximately 190,000 tons as RDF.
