Amanda Othoudt, Economic Development Specialist, Colleen Eddy
and Communications Director Kaylin Clement
Members Absent: Charlie Blesener and Katie Jenison

I.- Call Meeting to Order/Roll Call
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Economic
Development Authority Together Elk River Sub-Committee was called to order at
9:02 a.m. by Jennifer Wagner.
2. Consent Agenda
Motion by Debbi and seconded by Kaylin to approve the August 3,
2020 Meeting Minutes. Motion carried 5-0.
3. Together Elk River Marketing Campaign'
TER Week: The week is August 23 -29t. Kaylin has drafted ads for Google Smart
ads,which are projected to run for seven days at the cost of$105 and Facebook ads
to run seven days and cost$49. The Star News ran an article, once it is posted online
Kaylin will post/share on the city's social media sites. Amanda will check on the
YTD budget so the group knows where we are at.
The chamber is working on sharing Together Elk River week posts on their social
media sites and Kaylin is working on Next Door and FB posts to promote the week.
Marketing: The group discussed there might be a need to order more yard signs at
• the cost of$4.61 each.Jennifer is working with R&D Sales on face gaiters,who will
print 10 Together Elk River ones for the group to see and then decide if we would
like to order more. The face gaiters would not be sold,but act as a marketing tool.
Banners:They are being printed.
Next meeting is scheduled for:
a. Monday,August 17, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. —discussion on what other
goals would the group like to achieve with this campaign.
4. Adjournment
Moved by Amanda and seconded by Jennifer to adjourn the meeting. Motion
carried 5-0.-
There being no further business, Charlie Blesener adjourned the meeting of the Elk
River Economic Development Authority Together Elk River Subcommittee at 9:40
a.m.
