Background/Discussion
Demolition of the five houses on Main Street and Gates Avenue is complete. Otting House Movers, Inc.
entered into a moving agreement and is proposing to have the two houses at 419 3rd Street and 406 Main Street,
moved by the end of the year.
Once the houses are moved,the HRA has contracted with Veit to remobilize and demo the two basements.
Staff has hired a lawn care service,who will maintain the two properties until they are moved,and basements
are removed and backfilled.
Staff will schedule a developer forum in late October, or early November. Staff will also work with the Star
Nems on an article to help promote this redevelopment project. Sell sheets and marketing materials have been
updated for this project.
