VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
February 26, 1957
A special meeting of the Village Council was called by Mayor Schwartz for February 26, 1957 for the
purpose of looking over plans for a new Municipal building.
All Council members were present also several members of the Library Board, Mrs. Page , Librarian,
Harry Dreissig, Fire Chief, Lester Derr, Street Commissioner, Charles Dare of the Star News and
Mrs. Judy Lindberg, teacher of art at the local high school. Mayor Nels Nelson, of Zimmerman was
a visitor.
H.W. Fridlund, engineer showed tentative plans for a new building.
There was discussion with those present in regard to any possible changes to be made in the plans.
Mrs. Fridlund will present more detailed plans at a later date.
Meeting adjourned.
