A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE TEXT FOR THE FOCUS AREA STUDIES
BY BRW DATED JULY 1990 AS AN ADDENDUM TO THE CITY OF ELK RIVER'S
GROWTH MANAGEMENT PLAN DATED AUGUST 22, 1988
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elk River identified
four specific areas of Elk River that needed a more
detailed study regarding land use patterns as a
follow-up to the 1988 Growth Management Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River contracted the services of BRW
Inc., Planning Consultants, to conduct said studies;
and
WHEREAS, the Elk River Planning Commission held public
hearings regarding BRW's findings and made
recommendation to the City Council regarding said
studies; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elk River held a
pUblic hearing regarding said studies; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elk River found said
studies to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Elk River, Minnesota that the text of the Focus
Area Studies dated JUly, 1990 by BRW Inc. is adopted
as an addendum to the City of Elk River's 1988 Growth
Management Plan.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River
this 17 day of September, 1990.
