VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
January 24, 1958
The special of the Elk River Village Council was held at the Municipal Building on January 24, 1958
for the purpose of considering the matter of zoning and house numbering in the Village. Mr.
Shattuck, Engineer of Wayzata explained the matter thoroughly and also showed the Council some
enlarged aerial maps of the Village. After considerable discussion a motion was made by Briggs and
seconded by Sandberg to approve the zoning and house numbering agreement with Mr. Shattuck of
November 18, 1957 subject to the approval of the Village Attorney at a cost to the Village of
$2,400.00. Motion Carried
