VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
July 02, 1958
The Village Council acting as a Board of Review met at the Village Hall on July 2, 1958 at 7 o’clock
P.M. Members present: Meyer, Bergerson, Briggs and Mayor Johnson. The County Assessor and the
Village Assessor were also present. Some personal property and stocks of merchandise were
considered and the meeting adjourned to July 14 at 7:30 P.M.
At this meeting the committee from the Fire Department reported on the tabulation of the bids for
the fire truck. For the reason that only three bidders were eligible for consideration, the committee
recommended that all bids be rejected and advertise again for bids.
A motion was made by Meyer and seconded by Bergerson that all bids be rejected and that re-
advertising for bids be considered. Motion carried.
Meeting adjourned.
