RESOLUTION 90 - 49
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE MORATORIUM ON LAND USES
IN RELATION TO ADULT ENTERTAINMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elk River approved a
moratorium on adult related land uses on April 30,
1990; and
WHEREAS, the moratorium was pUblished and became effective
on May 23, 1990; and
WHEREAS, the Elk River Planning Commission is in the process
of reviewing the issue of regulating adult related
land uses to give recommendation to the Council; and
WHEREAS, the process of reviewing this issue has not been
completed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Elk River that said moratorium is extended for an
additional 18 month period beyond the date of this
resolution or until the City Council adopts and
publishes ordinances regulating adult related land
uses.
Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council the 17th day
of September 1990.
