VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
January 19, 1942
A regular meeting was held at the Municipal Bldg on January 19, 1942
Members present:
M.C. Tesch, Pres; Frank Nickerson, E.L. Shadick, and G.A. Bailey, Trustees; J.
Clinton Walker, Clerk
Mr. Herman Marohn and Mr. Kenneth Ranney asked for food stamp books to help them until they
got their first W.P.A. checks.
A motion was made by E.L. Shadick and seconded by G.A. Bailey granting Herman Marohn an
eight dollar food stamp book and Kenneth Ranney an eight dollar food stamp book. Motion carried.
The passing of a new Milk License Ordinance was discussed and the clerk was instructed to write
for a certified copy of the U.S. Public Health Service Milk Ordinance.
No further business. Meeting adjourned.
