VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
July 13, 1942
A regular meeting was held at the Village Hall on July 13, 1942 at 3:00 P.M.
Members present:
F.W. Nickerson, G.A. Bailey, E.L. Shadick, Trustees and J.C. Walker, Clerk with
G.A. Bailey acting President.
The meeting was called for the purpose of considering the plan of the State Highway department for
the removal and filling of basements on the Highway right of way through town.
After discussing the plans with a representative of the Highway department a motion was made by
E.L. Shadick and seconded by F.W. Nickerson to adopt the resolution consenting to the change in
the grade of the streets along which said trunk highway passes, as designated and shown in the plans
for the removal of basements and filling of same only. The resolution was unanimously adopted.
