VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
August 3, 1942
The Village Council of the Village of Elk River met in the Municipal building on August 17, 1942
with all members present.
A motion was made by Frank Nickerson and seconded by E.L. Shadick appointing the following
members to the Library Board. Mrs. Huseth, Mrs. Parsons and Mrs. White
The following election board was appointed by the council – J.C. Walker, Mrs. Eva Foley, Clerks;
Mrs. Kalekier, W. Blocker and Chas. Brown, Judges.
The following bills were allowed and order paid:
George Bing Sons – Liquor $60.58
Frank McCormick – Liquor $65.25
Famous Brands – Liquor $62.74
Griggs Cooper & Co. – Liquor $77.28
Distillers Distributing Corp. – Liquor $102.29
No further business. Meeting adjourned.
