VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
September 14, 1943
Special meeting of the Elk River Village Council was held at the Municipal Building.
Members present Bailey, Shadick, Leger, and Briggs.
After considerable discussion a motion was made by Leger and seconded by Shadick that the Village
Council go on record on not favoring the purchase of the local power and light transmission lines by
the Anoka County Co. Operative Association, R.E.A. Motion Carried.
Motion by Shadick and seconded by Leger that tax (see below) levy be the same as last year. Motion
carried.
General Fund $6000.00
Library Fund $550.00
R & B Fund $2800.00
Poor Fund $800.00
On motion meeting adjourned.
