VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
January 4, 1943
The Village Council of the Village of Elk River was held in the Municipal building on January 4,
1943 held at 8:00 p.m. with the following members present M.C. Tesch, Frank Nickerson, E.L.
Shadick, G.A. Bailey, Elmer Leger, A.F. Roehlke.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
The application of Mrs. August ?????? for back rent from Bill Belanger was refused because Belanger
is not in charge of the Village.
The following committees for the year 1943 were appointed by Mayor M.C. Tesch.

Dr. A.F. Roehlke was again appointed Village health officer and Rupert Zimmer was named Road
Commissioner. Chas. M. Nelson was reappointed Village Marshall, also?????? And janitor of
Municipal Building.
The Clerk was asked to bill Dayton for Fire Department services $25.00 for the first hour and
$10.00 for each additional hour.
G.A. Bailey moved and Elmer Leger seconded that bond of Village Clerk be accepted.
