VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
December 20, 1943
The special meeting of the Elk River Village Council was held in the Municipal building on
December 20, 1943
Members present Art Bailey, acting president, Shaddick, Leger, and Briggs.
Motion by Leger and seconded by Briggs that the following letter be sent to the Elk River Power
and Light Company by registered mail with return receipt requested. Motion carried.

Dear Sirs:
You will take notice that in compliance with the terms of the franchise and pursuant to the State
laws of the State of Minnesota the Village of Elk River is herby giving notice of its intention to
acquire the electric distribution system located within the village limits of the Village of Elk River,
Minn.

pair of glasses. Motion carried.
