VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
December 27, 1943
The special meeting of the Elk River Village Council was held in the Municipal building on
December 27, 1943
Members present Art Bailey, acting President of Council, Shaddick, Leger, and Briggs.
A delegation from the Anoka Co-operative association met with the council. Spokesman of the
delegation was President Edmunds who spoke in the interest of the purchase of the local plant by
the Anoka Co-Operative.
Members of the Civic Affairs Committee also present.
There was considerable discussion about the electric light situation but no action was taken by the
council.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
