VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
March 1, 1943
The Village Council of the Village of Elk River was held in the Municipal building on March 1, 1943
at 8:00 p.m., with the following members present M.C. Tesch, Frank Nickerson, E.L. Shadick, G.A.
Bailey, Elmer Leger, A.F. Roehlke.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Henry Olson, Ernest Nelson and Oliver Michean called in person regarding new siren. After
discussion it was decided that matter of repair be looked into. The Fire Dept was authorized to
provide a first aid kit for each truck.
Geo DeMars called and complained about lack of snow plowing to his house.
Art Bailey moved and Elmer Leger seconded that last payment of $161.69 for lease on airport 1941-
1942 be made to Northern States Power Co.
The following bills were allowed and ordered paid:
