VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
February 7, 1944
Regular meeting of the Elk River Village Council was held in the Municipal building on February 7,
1944.
All members were present.
Motion by Leger and seconded by Kramer that Dr. A. B. Rueblke be appointed as Health Officer
for year 1944. Motion carried.
Motion by Leger and seconded by Kramer that Rupert Zimmer be appointed Street Commissioner
for year 1944. Motion carried.
Motion by Bailey, seconded by Leger that Zimmer be paid $1.00 an hour for work don for village
for man and truck. Motion carried.
Clerk was instructed to speak to W.M. Roggatz, fire chief, in regard to taking no more than five men
on fire calls outside the village. Motion carried.
Charge for fires outside village to be $25.00 minimum plus cost of men above one hour.
