VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
April 19, 1944
Special meeting of the Elk River Village Council was held in the Municipal building on April 19,
1944.
All members were present.
Mr. H.H. Barber, attorney from Minneapolis met with the council in connection with the electric
power and light proposition. Engineer R.W. Richardson also met with the council.
Moved by Bailey and seconded by leger that Mr. Barber be instructed to draft a letter to be sent to
the Elk River Power & Light Co. asking for a price on all or any part of the local electric light and
power plant. Motion carried.
