REGULAR MEETING VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
January 8, 1945
Regular meeting of the Elk River Village Council was held at the municipal building on January 8,
1945 with all members present.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The newly elected trustee, V.B. Skellenger was sworn in.
Roland Wilson and Donald Dare met with the council in regard to a new siren for the fire
department. It was decided to investigate the matter.
R.W. Havoke and E.R. VaudenBerge met with the council regarding the curfew. Skellenger agreed
to draw up an ordinance for approval of the council.
Motion was made by leger and seconded by Kramer that Charles M. Nelson be rehired as Marshall
and pumper for year 1945. Motion carried.
