REGULAR MEETING VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
March 05, 1945
Regular meeting of the Elk River Village Council was held at the municipal building on March 5,
1945 with all members present. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Davidson.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
Mr. Otto representing Faltz-King and Day met with the Council and showed a tentative plan of a
street lighting system.
The curfew committee of the Commercial Club met with the Council and asked that certain changes
be made in the proposed curfew ordinance. The matter was held over until the next meeting.
The Clerk was instructed to write the Elk River Power and Light Co. asking that all street light bulbs
that have been in service more than two thousand hours be replaced. Also that all street light
reflectors be cleaned.
