REGULAR MEETING VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
April 02, 1945
Regular meeting of the Elk River Village Council was held at the municipal building on April 2, 1945
with all members present. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Davidson.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
Permission was given to J.P. Ranney to attached onto the water main.
The Council decided not to rent the Council room for any private meeting.
Mr. L.D. Bailey met with the Council in regard to damage to mail on Sunday on account of being
thrown off the fast train. The Clerk was instructed to write a letter in regard to this to the
Postmaster General with a copy to the local postmaster.
Motion by Leger and seconded by Skellenger that the matter of the curfew ordinance be held over
until a later meeting and the Clerk be instructed to send a copy of the proposed ordinance to the
Community Club for their consideration. Motion Carried.
