REGULAR MEETING VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
June 4, 1945
Regular meeting of the Elk River Village Council was held at the municipal building on June 4, 1945.
Members present, Davidson, Leger, Kramer and Briggs.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Davidson.
Mr. A.W. Maulstes of the State Highway Department presented plans for grade construction of
highway no. 10 through the Village. Motion by Leger and seconded by Kramer that grades on
highway no. 10 through the village be approved. Motion Carried.
There was some discussion regarding water meters in Village and the excess water used by the
creamery. Motion by Leger and seconded by Kramer that all water meters in the Village tbe checked
and cleaned if necessary and sand traps emptied. Also that meters by placed in all places where water
is used, there to be no flat rates. Motion Carried.
