SPECIAL MEETING VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
August 24, 1945
A special meeting of the Elk River Village Council was held at the Municipal Building in the Village
on August 24, 1945 for the purpose of opening and considering bids for completion of the sewer,
members present – Davidson, Briggs, Kramer and Skellenger.
Two bids were received, one from Lanettie and Lanettie of St. Pau, Minn. whose total bid was
___________ and one from Orfie and Mariani of St. Paul whose total bid was ___________
After considerable consideration and debate the Council decided to reject all bids for the reason that
they were too high and the Clerk was instructed to notify the bidders.
On motion meeting adjourned.
