SPECIAL MEETING VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
December 14, 1945
A special meeting of the Elk River Village Council was held at the Mayor’s Office on December 14,
1945. All members were present.
The purpose of the meeting was to make a change in the employees at the liquor store. IT was
agreed to hire Colman Kish and Jim Wingnes in place of Barbara Salzmann and Richard Dressig.
Richard Dressig is to be employed on an extra man.
Elmer Leger introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
Resolved to make the following transfers of Village funds: $2500 from the Poor Fund to the
General Fund, $4000 from the Road and Bridge Fund to the General Fund. The motion for the
adoption of said Resolution was seconded by Briggs and adopted by unanimous rate.
Meeting adjourned.
