REGULAR MEETING VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
January 7, 1946
Regular meeting of the Elk River Village Council was held at the municipal building on January 7,
1946. All members were present.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Davidson.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The Clerk was instructed to send bills to the Elk River Public Utilities for pumpers salary for the last
three months of 1945 and also for expenses in connection with the purchase of the local electric
light plant.
Mr. Fred Otto of Faltz, King and Day was present at the meeting and submitted plans and estimates
of cost of a diesel engine generating plant for the Village.
A motion was made by Leger and seconded by Skellenger that Dr. A.B. Roeclke be appointed
Village Health Officer for the coming year. Motion Carried.
The Clerk gave the results of the recent Village election which was approved by the Council.
