DISCUSSION:
Installed 12 new residential services, which involves the connection of a secondary line
once the customer requests service.
Staff is working on moving underground electrical boxesfor the CountyStateAid
Highway 12 reconstruction.
Work continues on the Edison Street rebuild, which involves replacing the overhead
lines for underground.
The underground loop for the land fill is complete, tear down of the overhead lines will
be done as soon as possible.
Working on relocating the underground primary lines for the expansion of the fire and
police department building.

Finished installing all the underground lines and street lighting for the 88 Street and
Parkview Avenue development in Otsego.
Working on the final stage for the County Road 39 roundabouts in Otsego, which
consists of replacing the overhead line with a three-phase underground loop.
Nick Hommerding’s last day was October 6. Tanner Ellis accepted the apprentice
lineworker position and his start date is October 19.
In order to ensure the timely delivery of the replacement digger truck, budgeted for
purchase in 2021 and presented in the Equipment Purchases Budget last month, staff
will be submitting a purchase order this year. By submitting the order now staff expects
to receive the equipment by the end of 2021.
