A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENT AND
PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS IN
THE MATTER OF THE 4th STREET AND IRVING AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS
OF 19 88
WHEREAS, a public hearing relating to the 4th Street and Irving Ave.
improvements was held before the Elk River City Council after ten
days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing
was given; and
WHEREAS the City Council has duly considered the Feasibility Report and
those matters presented at the public hearing by those persons
desiring to be heard on the matter;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River. Minnesota:
1. The 4th Street and Irving Avenue improvements is hereby ordered as
recommended in the Feasibility Report dated May 11. 1988 and
incorporating the directives from the City Council at their June 20.
1988 regular meeting.
2. Maier Stewart & Assoc.. Inc. is hereby designated as Project Engineer
for this improvement. The Project Engineer is directed to prepare
a change order to the contract of Progressive Contractors. Inc. for
the making of the improvement. The change order is to utilize the same
unit prices as contained in their bid for the Main Stree/Jackson Avenue
Improvements dated February 16. 1988
Passed and adopted this 20th day of June. 1988.
