A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE SERVICES OF FRANK MADSEN
TO THE CITY OF ELK RIVER ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,

WHEREAS,
Frank Madsen served on the Elk River Economic
Development Commission for three years and ten months
from March 7, 1983, through December of 1987, and;
his service on the Economic Development Commission
helped the City of Elk River obtain the Minnesota Star
City designation, and;
the Economic Development Commission deserves a
significant amount of credit for the economic
development progress the City of Elk River has made the
past few years, and;
the efforts of the volunteer Economic Development
Commission has led the City to establish an Economic
Development Program and hire an Economic Development
Coordinator, and;
Frank's service as a member of the Economic
Development Commission merits the gratitude of the
community and residents of the City of Elk River, and;
it is highly appropriate that Frank's outstanding
service to the City of Elk River should be recognized
and expressed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Elk River that on behalf of the residents of the City
of Elk River, Frank Madsen's dedicated service on the
Elk River Economic Development Commission is hereby
recognized and appreciated.
Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council this sixth day
of June, 1988.
