Action Requested
Approve, by motion, the hiring of the following paid on-call firefighter candidates effective November 3, 2020.

Anthony Hooper
Connor O’Connell
Michael Yaeger
Chad Yess
Background/Discussion
We received 18 applications from candidates interested in joining our fire department.
After being assessed for response times they were invited to take part in our physical agility testing. All candidates
who participated in the test passed and 13 were scheduled for interviews.
Following background checks, physicals, and psychological testing, the five candidates listed are recommended for
hire.
Financial Impact
These positions are withing the department’s authorized staffing level and are included in the budget.
