RESOLUTION 89-9
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION ENTERING INTO AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE STATE AND
THE CITY OF ELK RIVER FOR THE RECEIVING ON A LOAN BASIS OF A
BREATH TEST INSTRUMENT TO BE USED BY THE ELK RIVER LAW
ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS
BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Elk River enter into an agreement
with the State of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety
for the purpose of receiving from the State of Minnesota,
Department of Public Safety, preliminary breath test
instruments on a loan basis for use by law enforcement
officers to assist in the detection of motorists who may be
in violation of Minnesota Statutes Section 169.121, or
local ordinances in conformity therewith.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator and Chief of
Police be and they hereby are authorized to execute such
agreement.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River
this 30th day of January, 1989.
