VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
December 05, 1966
The regular semi-monthly meeting of the Elk River Village Council was held at the Village Hall on
December 05, 1966 with all members present. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Coles. The
minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
This meeting was also public meeting for the purpose of making possible changes in Zoning
Ordinance No. 61.
Among those present were: Robert Johnson, Neil Larson, Charles Kogle, Richard Gongall, Mrs.
Neil Larson, Paul Siegler, Eugene Kreuser, John E. Mac Gibbon.
Neil Larson and Robert Johnson again requested that their property at the intersection of Main
Street and Highway 10 be rezoned R.C. instead of R1 or R2.
A letter from the Planning Commission recommended that this request be denied. (Letter on file)
After considerable discussion a motion was made by Bartelt and seconded by Hudson that the
Council deny the request of change to R.C. Carried.
A motion was made by Hudson and seconded by Syring to appoint Charles Nogle Justice of the
Peace to fill out the term of William Kittriage deceased. Carried.
