RESOLUTION NO. 89- 13
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION DECLARING RESULTS OF THE SPECIAL ELECTION
HELD FEBRUARY 14, 1989
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota, as follows:
1. It is hereby found and determined that a special
election was held in the City on February 14, 1989, for
the purpose of voting upon the following question:
Shall the City of Elk River issue its general
obligation bonds in an amount not exceeding $475,000
for the purpose of providing funds to finance the
purchase of an aerial platform truck and related
equipment?
2. There were 467 "yes" votes and 70 "no" votes on the
questions and 0 ballots were determined to be
ineligible, spoiled, or otherwise defective;
3. There being more than the required majority of "yes"
votes on the question, the question is hereby declared
to have been answered in the affirmative.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River
this 16th day of February, 1989.~.~..
