DISCUSSION:
As mentioned last month, our auditors normally host a one-day seminar in the fall. This
year they are having four virtual two-hour sessions. Three of the four have been
completed. They have covered important topics relevant to the current times.
Payroll testing for Compensatory Time is being done to be ready to implement January
1, 2021.
The auditors from Abdo, Eick & Meyers will be performing preliminary audit work
January 6-7. Typically, preliminary audit work involves Inventory observations, Accounts
s meeting minutes. The 2020 audit field work is
scheduled for March 4-5. It is uncertain if any of the audit will be completed on site due
to COVID-19.
