DISCUSSION:
The IT/OT Technician has been working to keep our equipment running smoothly with
the increase in individuals working from home. There are also a number of projects that
ERMU and City IT staff are working on to prepare for installations and updates next
year.
The updated Conditional Use Permit was heard at the November 24 planning
commission meeting, and will go to City Council on December 21. There were a couple
questions on the reason for the site change, the reason for the hours of operation
limitation, and the screening we would use around our dumpsters. The permit was
approved, with the added restriction that screening around the dumpsters be the same
material as the building.
Wereceived five proposals for construction management services for the Field Services
Facility Expansion. Adolfson & Peterson Construction, Kraus-Anderson Construction, and
RJM Construction were selected for interviews. We completed interviews through video
conference on November 24 and selected RJM. They will help with budgeting and
planning along with Kodet Architectural Group, LTD. to keep the design process moving
forward. We anticipate that a contract for construction management services will be
presented at the January commission meeting.
