RESOLUTION 89 - 35
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION REASSESSING A CERTAIN PARCEL ASSESSED IN
EXCESS FOR THE 1988 JACKSON AVENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, Parcel PID 115-020-000100 owned by St. Andrews Church
was assessed in 1988 for Sanitary Sewer and Watermain
Improvements; and,
WHEREAS, the assessment was not appealed during the normal
special assessment appeal process; and,
WHEREAS, this property was assessed based on incorrect acreage;
and,
WHEREAS, correct acreage figures are available; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined this parcel was over
assessed in error and the assessment should be reduced.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Elk River that this assessment be reduced to $4,477.20.
Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council on this 22nd day
of May, 1989.
