RESOLUTION 89 - 37
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION REASSESSING A CERTAIN PARCEL ASSESSED IN
EXCESS FOR THE 1988 MAIN STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, Parcel PID 115-000-342306 is owned by Elk River Machine
Company and was assessed in 1988 for Sanitary Sewer and
Watermain Improvements; and,
WHEREAS, the assessment was not appealed during the normal
special assessment appeal process; and,
WHEREAS, this property is undeveloped; and,
WHEREAS, the parcel does not benefit from the Sanitary Sewer and
Watermain improvements at this time; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council determined this parcel does not benefit
at this time because it is undeveloped and the
assessment should be deferred until the parcel is
developed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Elk River that the Watermain and Sanitary Sewer
assessment be reduced to zero and cancelled from the
assessment roll as certified to the County Auditor until
developed at which time the assessment shall be
recertified.
Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council on this 22nd day
of May, 1989.
