Background/Discussion WSI Sports presented the Police and Fire Departments with a donation of 1,000 protective respiratory face masks at the December 21, 2020, Council meeting. All donations, by law, must be accepted by resolution. Updated: August 2020 City of Elk River City Council Resolution 21-____ A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging Contributions WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and individuals for their contributions to the community; and WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received 1,000 protective respiratory face masks from WSI Sports for their Unite America Campaign with the intent they be distributed by the Elk River Police and Fire Departments for distribution to local youth. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four-fifths vote, to acknowledge the support and commend WSI Sports for their donation.
