RESOLUTION 89 - 54
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION REASSESSING CERTAIN PARCEL ASSESSED FOR
IMPROVEMENTS IN THE 1989 TYLER STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, parcel #117-000-262400 is owned by John Williams was
assessed in 1989 for street overlay improvements; and,
WHEREAS, a letter of appeal was submitted to the City Council at
the June 19, 1989 special assessment hearing by John
and Karen Williams objecting to the excessive amount of
their assessment; and,
WHEREAS, a portion of this property abutting Tyler Street is
swamp and pond therefore eliminating the possibility of
subdividing the parcel into two units, each with access
to Tyler Street; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined this parcel was over
assessed and the assessment should be reduced.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOVED by the City Council of the City of
Elk River that this assessment be reduced from $3000.00
to $1500.00.

this 21st day of August, 1989.
